equipslot bug

Forgive me for posting in wrong sub forum but I couldn't find the right sub category to post this bug.

The equipslot command doesn't seem to work in macro.

For example:

/equipslot 16 Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker

When I ran this macro (well, I don't have Thunderfury on my hand but that's another story), nothing happens except the weapon is grey-ed out in my bag and I can't equip it manually or move it to another bag.

Penyembuh pointed out an addon to swap gears+weapons but I think it's too overkill for me because I only need the ability to swap my weapons (depends on which stance I'm currently at) during combat.

I'm not sure whether this is a bug or I use the command wrongly. Any pointer would be greatly appreciated.
